IMPORTANT NOTICE:
For a considerable amount of time this infusions has been available with a vulnerability. The vulnerability now has finally been fixed thanks to wivern. He also changed some code to have better time management and to fix some other small issues. The relevant thread where he gives his information is here: http://beta.phpfu...post_7886.
Apparently the new code allows for re-infusion which then updates the existing database table.
I HAVE NOT TESTED THIS YET! Any feedback about this update can be sent to muscapaul.

With upcoming events - it does not delete the stuff that already happened... is there something I am not doing to fix that?
#22 | Faustus on December 05 2005 - 15:37:36
to stop the displaying (will not delete)

Find this row (on or about line 29 in infusions/calendar_events_panel/calendar_events_panel.php):
Code
$result_vis = dbquery("SELECT * FROM ".$db_prefix."kalender WHERE jahr >= $p_year AND monat >= $p_month ORDER BY (monat+0), (tag+0), (jahr+0) ASC LIMIT 5");

Change it to:
Code
$result_vis = dbquery("SELECT * FROM ".$db_prefix."kalender WHERE jahr >= $p_year AND monat >= $p_month AND tag >= $p_day ORDER BY (monat+0), (tag+0), (jahr+0) ASC LIMIT 5");

Not perfect but fits in their code style w/o any major changes. Personally I'd prefer all dates to be stored in a timestamp, makes using them so much easier.

shadey: They will stop displaying after the month has passed with the original query, change to have them stop after the day.

Well the problem Faustus mentioned I think it should be altered to

Code
$result_vis = dbquery("SELECT * FROM ".$db_prefix."kalender WHERE jahr > $p_year OR (jahr = $p_year AND monat > $p_month) OR (jahr = $p_year AND monat = $p_month AND tag >= $p_day) ORDER BY jahr, monat, tag LIMIT 5");

This way it will only select events from today and forward, but allow for events in the coming month and year.

My current events comes out all messed up. Not ordered since changing over to January. Anyone else have this problem? I had it on 2 of my sites so I took up the upcoming events panel for now.
#25 | borgagassi on January 18 2006 - 21:24:53
Am I missing something, or are the recurring events only annual? If so, are there plans to update this to include daily, weekly, etc., recurring events. Thanks for a great mod Smile

Server hosting the site is in US/Eastern, the site is set for US/Pacific which is centered around World of Warcraft's game time. The infusion dosn't adjust for the default offset that is set in the 'Time and Date Settings' section of System Admin.

I end-rounded this somewhat by using a php5.1.5's date_default_timezone_set("US/Pacific"Wink; in calendar_panel.php. The new problem that popped up is on the main page in the side panel it shows Today's and Tomorrows events below the calender, when 9pm Pacific rolls around, an event shows for both Today and Tomorrow(Because the system's time is Eastern).

Updating the script to use the default offset is beyond my coding skills.. Any help?

Very nice calendar. Just wonder if there is a tool that can make it possible for members to add events too? Have tried to search but didnt find it. Smile
